SOLD OUT & DISCONTINUED
This wasn't the first chronograph from Time Factors but was our first monopusher.
The first chronograph for astronomical use was developed in 1815 but the first practical chronograph was developed in 1821 and was used for timing horses racing on the Champ de Mars.
The first modern wrist chronograph was launched in 1969 and the argument continues to this day as to whether the first company to launch was Zenith, Seiko or Heuer. Longines introduced a monopusher chronograph in 1915 with Breitling following n 1918. Monopushers have been made by several companies but perhaps the most well-known to us today is the Lemania which was produced mainly for military use, being issued to the Royal Air Force and the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy from 1963 until the mid-1970s and is highly collectible today.
Monopushers are enjoying something of a revival after years of not being made, the Smiths Monopusher was one of four in production at the time.
