The Richmond Spencer is a reimagined version of the original PRS-8, which was first introduced 20 years ago in the March of 2004.
The name is taken from Richmond being Eddie's mother's maiden name and Spencer being the maiden name of his late wife.
The emphasis on the reintroduction has been all about the specification and quality of the movement. We started with the Unitas 6498, which was significantly modified and decorated with screwed Glucydur balance with Nivarox hairspring, swan-neck regulator, 3/4 top plate with Geneva Stripes and blued screws.
There are only 90 watches available and it will not be made again to this specification (if at all).
There will also be availability of the Smiths Navigator, Smiths Air Ministry, Trans-Global, PRS-82 Royal Navy Diver, Smith Caribbean & many other models.
We do expect the site to be open for an extended period of time, allowing people to make a purchase without the stress of a particularly short window of opening.
THE EVEREST BLACK DIAL, WHITE DIAL, EXPEDITION, HONEYCOMB & GILT DIALS ARE NOW SOLD OUT BUT WILL BE AVAILABLE TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR.
PLEASE be patient, measures will be in place to try to discourage "flippers" and re-sellers in an attempt to make sure as many people who genuinely wish to own particular models have a fair chance of getting one.
All watches are guaranteed against defective workmanship for 24 months from date of purchase and the guarantee for the first 12 months applies to the original purchaser only.
